Jack Taylor

Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator

Jack joined UCSF in 2015, originally as an SRA in neuropharmacology/drug discovery. He shifted focus to clinical research and joined the Boxer Lab in 2019. In parallel to his work and studies, Jack has volunteered with the Institute on Aging and Alzheimer's Association since 2015. He currently serves as a support group facilitator for a caregiver's group and a persons with diagnosis - early stage group. Jack is also a member of the Memory and Aging Center's Coalition on Diversity Equity and Inclusion (MAC-CODE). Jack is an avid hiker, guitarist, skater, and traveler. Jack joined UCSF in 2015, originally as an SRA in neuropharmacology/drug discovery. Projects: ALLFTD Mobile App Lead Coordinator and Project Manager. The ALLFTD Mobile App, built on the Linkt Platform, was designed by UCSF to include tests of executive function, speech/language, and motor ability, while simultaneously collecting passive mobile data. The ALLFTD Mobile App is currently in use among studies of:

  • Frontotemporal Dementia/AD/Parkinson's 
  • CADASIL
  • Healthy Aging
